Both communication and small group dynamics are so much a part of your life and society at large that, as a college student, you undoubtedly have a great store of knowledge about small group processes. However, perhaps you have not yet formalized your understanding of group dynamics, or learned to participate in groups effectively, or integrated new information about the role of group communication in effecting satisfying and productive group experiences. Generally, this seminar should provide you with a basic understanding of the processes of small group communication and an opportunity to apply what you have learned to group settings outside the classroom.
