Experience the stories behind some recent and famous Nobel Prizes. Discover the human drama as well as some of the hottest topics in chemistry, physics and biology. Class includes demonstrations, an on-campus laboratory visit, and a Nobel laureate guest speaker.
Professor Mattanjah de Vries, Chemistry & Biochemistry, teaches Analytical Chemistry, Freshman Honors Chemistry, and special topics graduate courses. His research interests include studying the building blocks of life on a single molecular level with novel laser-based techniques, as well as applications in meteorite analysis and archeology.
