This seminar pays attention to three specific fields of cultural production---- film, literature, and pop music, to study how Spain is currently negotiating a new sense of identity.
Professor Silvia Bermudez, Spanish and Latin American and Iberian Studies, research focuses on contemporary Latin American and Peninsular cultural productions. Her current work pays attention to issues of immigration and border crossing in the musical productions of Latin America and Spain.
