This is a brief introduction to Chinese American history. Students will view excerpts of several films and analyze historical developments of Chinese America based on historical details reflected in these film productions.
Professor Xiaojian Zhao, Asian American Studies, research interests are Asian American history and Chinese American community. She teaches courses on Asian American History Survey, Chinese American Experience, and Asian American Women and Family.
