The Riemann Hypothesis is one of the most important unsolved problems in mathematics and is one of the Clay Mathematics Institute's million dollar Millenium Prize Problems. This seminar will explore physicist Sir Michael Berry's description of the conjecture as saying that the primes have music in them.
Professor Jeffrey Stopple, Mathematics, does research on analytic number theory and teaches mathematics courses at all levels.
