The goal is to apply critical thinking skills to nutrition information widely available in the popular media. The scientific basis for diet and supplement recommendations will be examined.
Professor Diane Eardley, MCDB, area of research expertise is microbiology and immunology. She has read extensively in the area of nutrition and teaches a MCDB 20-level General Education course in Nutrition.
