This course will help students gain an understanding of romantic and sexual relationships. Material will focus on theories and stages of relationships, socialization regarding relationships and sexuality, relationship skills, sexual assault and sexual orientation. Attendance, class participation and completion of short written assignments required.
Professor Tania Israel, Education, has taught Psychology of Gender, Theories of Counseling, Counseling Women, Professional issues, Counseling LGBT Clients, and Teaching Psychology in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education. Her research focuses on gender issues, diversity training, and counseling sexual minority clients.
