Description:
The major objective of this course is to provide information and hold discussions regarding the value of using immersive virtual environments to study scientifically human behavior and social interaction and the importance of understanding behavior in the design and implementation of immersive virtual environments.
Professor James Blascovich, Psychology, Co-Director of the Research Center for Virtual Environments and Behavior, Professor of Psychology, has taught this very popular freshman seminar for three years. Also teaches freshman/sophomore Psychology honors seminar.
