Description:
Like most of our traits, our sexual preferences, our perceptions of attractiveness, and our ways of attracting mates have been shaped by our evolutionary history. This course will begin with a primer of evolutionary theory and analysis and then use these tools to tackle the problem at hand: why do men and women approach relationships and sex the way they do?
Professor Steven Gaulin, Anthropology, is a biological anthropologist specializing in the evolution of human behavior. He teaches Introduction to Physical Anthropology, Evolutionary Psychology and Primate Behavior.
