The course will survey the cognitive effects of selected forms of brain damage that result from accidents and strokes. Students will learn a bit about the brain, cognition, and the tests that measure the effects of damage. They may never again snowboard without a helmet or use their cell phones while driving.
Professor Russell Revlin, Psychology, is a cognitive psychologist, who does research on language, memory, and reasoning. He has taught Introduction to Psychology (1), Cognition (108), Memory (117) and Psycholinguistics (127).
