This course will provide a new perspective on Life through Art and Chemistry. Art and science respond to the very same impulses that drive humanity at the forefront of novelty and creation to seek the sublime. This course will aim at defining a new manner of trans-disciplinary research that draw equally upon Art and Chemistry by offering a journey to the realm and beauty of the minute dimensions of the world.
Professor Luc Jaeger, Chemistry, areas of expertise are biochemistry and chemistry. He teaches general biochemistry (142C), and a course dedicated to "Informational supra- and macromolecules. In the past (in France), he has also taught courses on the "Chemistry and Origin of Life" and RNA architectures.
