Description:
We will focus on brain “plasticity” - - the ways in which the brain (and mind) stay open to revision throughout the course of a lifetime - - by reading and discussing neuroscientific and other materials.
Professor Aranye Fradenburg, English, is the Director of the English Department’s initiative on “Literature and the Mind”, and a psychoanalyst. She teaches courses on “Creativity and the Imagination”, “Anxiety” and “Lacanian Theory”.
