Description:
Topics in medical ethics as well as topics in modern biotechnology are introduced in a case-based format that encourages maximum interaction between students.
Professor David Kohl, Moleculer, Cellular & Developmental Biology, has been a faculty member at UCSB for almost forty years. He served as Health Professions Advisor for twenty five of those years and also as Dean of the College. He has a strong interest in areas of biotechnology and medical ethics, and teaches courses in cancer biology and human genetics.
