Description:
A survey of film animation exploring the variety of style categories and production techniques which have made the animated film perhaps the most profound and expressive area of the motion picture. A variety of unique films will be presented in addition to two practical animation exercises.
Professor Dana Driskel, Film Studies, has been in charge of the film production courses for the Film Studies Department since 1980. He specializes in animation, crew production and silent film history.
